Backing up your important files and folders is always a good idea. Fortunately, you don't need to do it manually if you count on tools like FBackup allowing you to create backup tasks and execute them manually or at the scheduled time. The program features a simple and intuitive user interface designed to be usable by anyone, without requiring any special skills.

The program bases its operation on the "where - what - how - when" methodology. This means you can define what files and folders you want to backup, the destination where you want to store your backups (locally, on a network drive, on a pen drive or removable disk, or on your Google Drive account), the method to be used (full backup or mirror backup), and whether you want the backup to be created immediately, or automatically at a specific time. To provide all those parameters, FBackup offers a wizard-like user interface that allows you to create the backup task with just a few clicks. You can provide a name for the task, filter your backup by creating an exclusion list with the file types to be omitted, and select whether to encrypt your backup and protect it with a password. As for the difference between full and mirror backups, the full one creates a ZIP file in the destination with the copied files and folders, while the mirror simply copies all the files/folders structures as they are.

If you are an advanced user and don't like the wizard interface, you can enable the advanced mode. There, you can configure all the parameters by yourself in a more sophisticated environment. Also, I have to mention that FBackup allows you to create and schedule as many backups as you need, and you can configure them to be automatically executed not once, but periodically.

In a nutshell, I would say FBackup is an excellent backup tool that offers you very good functions and features, considering it's free. However, you can upgrade to Backup4all, the paid edition of the program which offers you many more functions like incremental backups, and supports many more cloud destinations like OneDrive and Dropbox.
